Central Asia
OneHope Scripture engagement programs are being shared throughout the region through our partners. We’re celebrating young lives whose hearts have been changed by the Gospel...like Omar & Maida!
Meet Omar
Omer, a Muslim in Central Asia, went to our What If It’s True? and found answers to critical questions he had about his life. He began interacting with local Christians through email and our website. Today, Omer is following Jesus as his Savior!

Meet Maida
Maida, an 11-year-old, lives in Armenia. She has four siblings and loves to dance and paint. Maida also enjoys learning from the Bible App for Kids. “I like to listen to stories because I love God very much and He is my best friend. With the help of the app I also study the English language because I already speak Armenian and Russian,” she said.
Our goal is to reach 465,000 children with God’s Word in 2021! Want to learn more about this Kingdom work? Connect with us!
A Word From Our Leadership Team
Most of the countries that make up the region of Central Asia were once part of the Soviet Union. In the early 90’s independent Soviet states started to break away from Russia and form their own governments. In doing so the Soviet Union became the 14 independent countries that we see in our world maps today. The southern states in the Caucuses and those south of the Eurasian Steppe make up the Region of Central Asia for OneHope. This is an area largely dominated by Islam and many countries are less than 2% Evangelical. This region presents many challenges to the work of the church so your prayers are important.
